Create New Ideas

The Law of Perpetual Transmutation states that circumstances and things are constantly shifting based on our thoughts. This law reminds us that nothing stays the same—everything is either moving toward us or away from us in response to what we consistently think about.

When we introduce a new idea and back it with belief and faith, it begins making its way to us. But if we allow fear and doubt to take over, we push it away.

My son taught me a powerful lesson in this law a few years ago. It was summertime, and we were on our way to a small town—where my parents grew up—to watch their local parade and reconnect with family. My son, who was five at the time, kept telling me the entire drive there, “I’m going to be in the parade.” I gently tried to prepare him for disappointment, explaining that we didn’t know anyone with a float. But he didn’t budge—he kept saying he was going to be in the parade. I was bracing myself for the letdown I thought was inevitable. But about half an hour before the parade began, my aunt came over and said they needed one more person for their float—was anyone interested? My mom called me over right away, and before I knew it, my son was on the float, beaming with joy. He had the time of his life. It was humbling to see this law in action—to see how his unwavering belief made it real. It didn’t matter that he was five years old or that it didn’t seem possible—he believed, and it happened.

A more recent example: I had wanted to purchase the Family Time & Money Freedom course by Trevan and Leslie Householder, but at the time, I didn’t have the money. My husband had received an unexpected Christmas bonus, but it had already been spent on other things. I started regretting not setting some of that money aside for the course. But instead of dwelling on it, I decided to change my focus. I chose to believe I would purchase it, without having to wait another year. While working on our taxes in early March (they’re not too complex), I noticed we qualified for a free online tax service. The difference between the refund I had calculated and the amount the software calculated? It was exactly the price of the course. My husband agreed it would be a worthwhile investment, and I was able to purchase it.

Experiences like these have shown me that when I receive an idea and begin acting on it, things start shifting behind the scenes—even if I can’t see it right away. And if I keep moving forward with faith, I will receive what I desire.
