He was a Danger to Society

The Law of Polarity states that everything has its opposite. If there is sorrow, then there must be joy. If there is pain, there must be pleasure. If there is failure, there must be success. If there is disease, there must be health. Whatever experience we face, we can trust that it comes as a complete package.
We can choose to find the positive in every experience—or, if we’re inclined, we can focus on the negative. The Law of Polarity teaches us that every problem carries with it a blessing or a solution that is equal in measure to the challenge.
The Big Move
When we moved back to Idaho from Arizona, it was under immense stress and discomfort. Our only son was facing serious emotional struggles and had become a danger to himself and to others. We uprooted everything to get him the best help we could find. I left my job, we left our home on the market, and moved in with my parents. I couldn’t find work, the house wouldn’t sell, and eventually, our son committed crimes that forced us to turn him in. He was remanded to a juvenile correctional facility.
It was one of the heaviest times in our lives.
In the middle of all this, we were introduced to the laws that govern success. For the first time in a long while, we felt a flicker of hope. As we applied the Law of Polarity, we started to look for the opportunity within the challenge—and in doing so, we began to feel peace, and even gratitude. We realized just how serious our son’s struggles were, and saw clearly that he was in the best place to receive the help he needed.
We also recognized a quiet, unexpected gift: having him away from home for a time gave our family a chance to breathe, to recover, and to gain new tools that would prepare us not only to support him in the future—but to grow and thrive ourselves.
In that space of stillness and reflection, we began to uncover our true purpose. Without the weight of a mortgage or the noise of everyday obligations, we were able to focus on learning the laws of success and aligning ourselves with principles that would carry us forward.
Eventually, our house in Arizona did sell. We started new businesses, felt a renewed sense of purpose, and began walking through doors that never would have opened had we not passed through that refiners’ fire.
