The Incredible Law of Gender

What in the world is the Law of Gender?
The Law of Gender is an intriguing principle that says: to create anything, there must be both a male and female aspect of its kind.
Put another way—imagine growing a plant from a seed. That process always requires both a planter and a grower. The same is true for ideas.
Every thought, every idea, is a seed. And in today’s world, companies, organizations, and individuals are constantly trying to plant their ideas into the fertile seedbed of your mind. If you nourish those seeds—whether you meant to or not—they’ll take root and start influencing your thoughts, behaviors, and decisions.
Advertisers do this all the time. Their goal is simple: get the seed to stick, take root, and grow… so you’ll buy what they’re selling.
Let that sink in.
Seeds are flying at you from every direction—on your screen, in conversation, through music, media, and more. And the moment you accept one and start nurturing it, that seed begins to grow and shape your life, often without you even realizing it.
These seeds influence how you see the world. They shape your paradigms, your beliefs, your attitudes—and ultimately, your results.
Here’s the catch:
As long as you’re growing other people’s seeds, you’re living under their influence. Their goals, their agendas—not yours—are steering the ship.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.
You can be both the planter and the grower of your own seeds.
So stop giving energy to everyone else’s ideas. Plant your own.
Here’s how:
1. Choose your seeds intentionally.
Find ideas, goals, and people that represent what you truly want. Surround yourself with those things. Let them inspire your own unique vision.
2. Plant them with imagination.
Visualize a life that includes those ideas. See it, feel it, and experience it as vividly as you can—like it’s already happening. That’s how you plant the seeds deeply.
3. Protect your garden.
Pay attention to what you allow in. If something doesn’t align with your values or goals, cut it off at the source. That might mean changing what you watch, listen to, or who you spend time around.
Let me give you an example from my own life.
When I was a kid, I used to love watching horror movies. Something about the thrill, the jump-scares—I thought it was entertaining. I’d watch them right before bed, thinking I was fine.
But when the lights went out and the room was silent except for my own breathing, that’s when the seeds took hold. My mind would replay the terrifying scenes, and suddenly I was lying there, frozen in fear.
No matter how hard I tried to distract myself, it was too late. The seed had been planted—and now I had to live with the consequences.
That’s when I realized:
What I allow in affects me.
First in my thoughts, then in my emotions, and finally in my reality.
So now, I protect my garden.
You get to choose which seeds you plant in the soil of your mind.
So choose wisely.
Choose seeds that bring you joy, peace, growth, and purpose.
Because the life you grow will always reflect the seeds you’ve allowed to take root.
Enjoy it.
It’s the only life you have.
