The Law of Vibration teaches that everything in the universe is in a constant state of motion—vibrating. These vibrations are how energy, ideas, and outcomes move and connect. This principle is closely tied to what many call the Law of Attraction.

Put simply: things that share the same frequency are drawn to each other.
Our bodies are always vibrating too, and those vibrations are influenced by what we think about.
Our thoughts create emotions, and those emotions generate a vibrational signal we send out into the universe. Whatever matches that frequency may find its way to us.

I’ve come to understand that everything we need—every version of ourselves we could possibly become—already exists on an invisible plane.
My part is to imagine clearly what I want to be, do, or have, and focus on that idea long enough to generate a positive emotional connection to it.
That feeling becomes a vibration. That vibration becomes a signal.
And if I hold onto it with faith and consistency, the physical version begins to form.

This law shifted the responsibility for my life right into my lap.
And I own it.
That’s both liberating and frustrating—because it means I have the power to change my life, but I also have to let go of the comfort of ever being a victim.

A simple example:
I’ve admired black leather jackets for years. But for a long time, I didn’t feel like I deserved one. I saw them as something only people with money wore—something out of reach for me.

Then one day, while my daughter and I were scouting Halloween costumes at a Goodwill thrift store, I spotted a beautiful black leather jacket I could actually afford. I slipped it on and loved how I felt. I walked around the store wearing it, beaming. I checked myself out in the mirror and asked my daughter what she thought. I was ready to buy it… until I noticed the leather on one side was worn and starting to peel.

Disappointed, I put it back. I didn’t want to look like I was wearing something tired or worn out. But something had changed—I had felt a vibration. I knew what it felt like to embody that version of myself.

Fast forward a few months: I was leaving Arizona and had just quit my job. My replacement had bought a black leather jacket from a trunk vendor to wear on the job. I offered him my company jacket—it was in great shape, had the logo, and fit well. He found out the leather one wasn’t working for him, and we ended up doing a straight trade. I now had a stylish black coat and even got compliments on it! But I later discovered it wasn’t real leather—and two years later, it began to fall apart.

Still, that desire for a real leather jacket never went away. And I still couldn’t justify buying one.

Then, that Christmas, I received one as a gift from my parents. A real black leather jacket. I loved it—and still do. It’s versatile enough to wear through fall, winter, and even early spring. It fits me and my style. It was exactly what I had wanted.

That jacket didn’t just show up.
It came after I came into vibrational alignment with the feeling of having it.
The Law of Vibration had quietly been at work the whole time.
