The way OUT

law of polarity law of vibration spiritual beliefs Mar 06, 2025

This week in my Achieving the Impossible class, one of our students had a really great question about the Law of Vibration. She was concerned about her situation, and how the law implies that her unwanted conditions were a result of her vibration. We talked about victims of abuse or violence, and how it isn’t right or helpful to blame them for attracting such horrific outcomes.

We talked about agency, and the Law of Polarity. We talked about the promised gifts contained in every adversity, equal in magnitude to their darker counterpart. And we talked about the fact that when bad things happen to good people, perhaps it’s because they are at a level or frequency where God knows they are ready to take on the adversity TO receive the gift it contains. When thought of that way, it would mean that hardships are a testament to the person’s caliber (hardly consolation to the one who is suffering, but worth considering). All of this can be tough to process. Finding peace, joy, and the hidden benefits in the worst circumstances is not easy. But the promises are sure, and it’s our opportunity to put them to the test.

But there’s more to consider.

After our call was over, I couldn’t stop thinking about the conversation, and posted an update in our private group. I’ll share what I said here, because I want everyone to benefit from it:

A follow up about yesterday’s ATI discussion – don’t forget the stickman!

The point to remember about the Law of Vibration is that it is for helping us move forward. By visualizing ourselves living an experience we hope to have, we can begin to feel how we hope to feel. When we shift our feelings in that way, our vibration changes to match the desired outcome. In that state, we begin to tap into a corresponding broadcast of ideas, and more naturally attract or resonate with the resources and people that will help us get there. People begin to feel differently around us, and about us. Our words and actions are influenced by our higher vibration.

However, if the law is used in reverse (analyzing our present status instead, wondering about our current vibration and whether we are the cause of our current situation), then effectively (think stickman), we are focusing too much on the X, bringing in more X data, thinking more about X, getting emotionally charged about X, and therefore (by law) keeping our body in an X vibration and creating more of the same.

Regardless of the conclusions we come to from our analysis, the effect is the same.

The point of the Law of Vibration is to show us the way OUT, but we must do it without thinking so much about what IS. By the Law of Vibration, our circumstances move us in the direction of our thoughts, specifically the thoughts to which we give the most energy and attention.

So just remember, in the work of creation, it is not helpful to analyze your current state. God doesn’t need to know everything about the way things are or how they go there, and neither do we. He only asks, and the only thing that really matters, is where we want to be. I think of the scene in The Chosen where Jesus speaks with the crippled man at the healing pool. Christ was inviting him to be healed, and his response was all the reasons he couldn’t get to the pool fast enough. Christ was focused on the Y idea, the man was stuck in thinking only about X, the reasons he couldn’t be. Read this with X and Y in mind and see if you can identify the pattern, the key to miracles:

X:

“And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.”

Y:

“Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked” (John 5:5-9)

Wait, what is the stickman?

It’s a model of the mind and how it works, originally developed by Dr. Thurman Fleet (Concept Therapy), as taught to me by Bob Proctor. Watch this never-before-released-video of me in the early days teaching a segment of Genius Bootcamp here:
