Celebrating Agency and Diversity
Apr 21, 2009
If you’re subscribed to my Rare Faith newsletter, chances are you’re someone who strives to live by faith—believing in something good, even when you can’t yet see it. That kind of belief is foundational to prospering through the Law of Attraction and other universal laws of success.
No matter your background or faith tradition, I want you to know how much I value the beautiful diversity of our community. I’m truly grateful that we all have the gift of free agency—the ability to believe according to the light and truth we each hold dear.
To those who have taken the time to email us with kind words and expressions of appreciation, even when our religious views may not be exactly the same—thank you. I LOVE that. I love being surrounded by people who build meaningful friendships based on all the things we do share.
In that same spirit of unity and mutual respect, I want to share a powerful collection of short videos from a special event at Harvard University called Day of Faith – Personal Quests for a Purpose. It features a panel of Harvard students from various faith backgrounds—including Buddhism, Judaism, Mormonism, Christianity, and Islam—each sharing their personal spiritual journey. The respect they show one another is deeply moving, and their shared pursuit of personal, inner faith is incredibly inspiring.
Enjoy!
