"For the earth is full, and there is enough and to spare; yea, I prepared all things..." (D&C 104:17)

After I issued my "call for stories" on the themes of Rare Faith and Tender Mercies, I received this beautiful message from Diana Lynne Johnson:

Leslie, I met you at a Bear Lake Divine Eating Retreat in May of 2016. You spoke and shared some of your stories and principles. I was so inspired—I bought one of your CDs and have since read all of your books. I even shared them with my children.

Since then, incredible miracles have shown up in my life, even in the midst of heartbreaking challenges—like my husband suffering a massive stroke just two days before Christmas in 2016, and again in February 2017, when a relapse caused by medical negligence nearly took his life.

Instead of pursuing legal action, I felt strongly impressed to share our story—a story of faith, forgiveness, and miracles.

Though my husband can no longer work, and I’ve had to put my teaching career on hold to become his full-time caregiver, somehow we always have "enough and to spare." And the increase of FAITH, HOPE, and CHARITY—both within us and those around us—has been incredibly moving.

There have been many moments when I’ve felt discouraged trying to write and publish my books. But every time I’ve prayed, “Father, if you still want me to share these stories, please restore my motivation,” He has answered—at least three times—with fresh inspiration and renewed drive.

It all started when I read your books, Leslie.
